Welcome to my website.  My name is Genesta Doucette (Amirault) and I am very much interested in genealogy.  This website showcases my efforts in researching my family and my husband Wayne Doucette's family ancestry.

I have been able to trace my roots back to Sieur Phillippe Muis d'Entremont:

On my mother's father's side, I am Genesta Doucette (Amirault), daughter of Madeleine Amirault (d'Eon), daughter of Sylvain Agapit d'Eon (originally spelled Duon), son of Anne Francoise d'Entremont, daughter of Jean (Squire) d'Entremont, son of Benoni d'Entremont, son of Jacque (2nd) d'Entremont, son of Jacque (1st) d'Entremont, son of Sieur Phillippe Muis d'Entremont.

On my mother's mother's side, I am Genesta Doucette (Amirault), daughter of Madeleine Amirault (d'Eon), daughter of (Marie) Odelle d'Entremont, daughter of Francois (Franco) d'Entremont, son of Dominique d'Entremont, son of Charles Celestin d'Entremont, son of Joseph d'Entremont, son of Jacque (2nd) d'Entremont, son of Jacque (1st) d'Entremont, son of Sieur Phillippe Muis d'Entremont.

Note that Benoni and Joseph d'Entremont were two of the three brothers who resettled Pubnico after the Deportation of the Acadians.
