I normally don't post about other games, but Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 is one of my favorites. It's this week's XBLA Deal of the Week, reduced to 400 Microsoft Points (down from 800), available only to Xbox LIVE Gold members.

The above Geometry Wars videos were recorded with a Blackmagic Intensity Pro capture card and a Dell Precision T3400 workstation containing a four 7,200 RPM hard drive RAID-0 array (simulating a single 28,800 RPM hard drive in terms of speed performance). It is our professional Xona Games system, used to professionally record footage of our video games. Let me know what you think of the quality.

Speaking of my April 7th, 2010 scores, my 3,000+ ranks I never really tried to improve, and they use to be in the 2,000s. The other three I all had below 1,000 ranks back when I played.
