1T - First Thursday technology meetup.
I gave a presentation on Artificial Intelligence today, at our local 1T - First Thursday technology meetup.
1T - First Thrusday Tech Meetup:
If you are in the Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada area, please come and join. We meet the first Thursday of every month, hence "1T - First Thursday", at Rudder's on Water Street.

AI Presentation:
The presentation itself was not too complicated, but ended up a bit over most people's heads. I hope everyone enjoyed the demonstrations none-the-less. It is impressive how far we have come (and also how far we have not come).
I split it up into two sections:
- math / calculation / logic (demonstrated how these are not only related, but are actually the same things)
- chess (zero sum game theory)
Check out the actual presentation here, in OpenOffice Impress format:

Stockfish:
P.S. Stockfish beat both participants with queen odds (and move odds), which means the human plays white and the computer plays black without a Queen! Try it yourself and let me know if you can beat the strongest chess program without a queen! It's a challenge.
That is all!
