Happy New Year!

Robert Gibson, a friend and former mentor and colleague of mine, wrote me hoping 2020 brings me perfect vision.

2020 is "the year of perfect vision"!

It's a play on 20/20 eyesight, of course.

P.S. I know 20/20 eyesight is not actually perfect; It is average by definition: 20/20 means you can see at 20 feet what a normal person can see at 20 feet. 20/40 vision means you can see at 20 feet what a normal person can see at 40 feet, which is worse than normal vision. But, anyways, I will go with it:

Wishing you all the year of perfect vision in 2020.
