Nano ナノ

Nano ナノ (was Epoch 時代; originally Project X) is a 2D procedurally generated, platform, run and gun, exploratory, multiplayer, shoot 'em up. Designed with architectural extendability.

Nano ナノ... details coming later.
(For now, visit Project X.)

Naming History:

Detailed credits: The name Nano was suggested by Jason, and the Japanese name ナノ was translated by Matthew. The name Epoch was originally suggested by Jason, and later independently suggested by Matthew. The Japanese name 時代 was translated by Matthew.

Ultimately, Matthew decided to go with Nano as it sounded better, it fit the elementary particle and systemic/emergent behaviour of what will become known as the "Nano Engine," is not confused or used by other games, avoids the confusing pronunciation of Epoch (ee-pok, not eh-puhk), and avoids the erroneous confusion with Epic Games. Finally, Nano ナノ is the complete title to help convey our Japanese gameplay and design styles similar to Duality ZF and Score Rush Extended.

That is all.
