Duality ZF is a 3rd Independent Game Developer's Competition semi-finalist for technical excellence. The contest is run by indiePub Games.
Duality ZF a semi-finalist, under technical excellence.
Here's the write-up:
"Duality ZF - All of the detail involved in building a 4-player shmup (with two simultaneous fighters per person) introduces a lot of technical challenges. Duality ZF does this smoothly, and manages to stay fun and easy-to-play even with the millions-of-bullets covering up the screen."
Kudos to Jason Doucette for winning this recognition for us and his work. His high performance Duality Engine, the backbone of Duality ZF, is what won this prize. Jason is the lead programmer at Xona Games. The Duality Engine is heavily optimized and we are still amazed at optimizations that could still be added. The future is a bright one!
Our predictions on the $100,000 grand prize winner:
How can it not win?! Good luck Alexander Bruce!
Please check out all the finalists (and community favorite) and semi-finalists, there's some amazing indie games in there.
