Alexander Bruce: Inspirational Indie Developer

I am going to keep this one short.

I just watched an Alexander Bruce speech at GDC 2014 and it was the most inspirational indie game developer speech I have ever listened to. His is a good friend who I have blogged about before. If you are an indie game developer, it is worth your while to watch this speech until the end (~42 minutes long):

Alexander Bruce's Antichamber: An Overnight Success, Seven Years in the Making GDC 2014 speech

And here's his second speech:

Alexander Bruce's Antichamber: Three Years of Hardcore Iteration GDC 2014 speech

And, if you haven't already, watch Indie Game: The Movie.

I can tell you that our trials and tribulations at Xona Games coincide with the experiences of these developer, although media (even our media on xona.com) tends to cover only the success stories. I could never hate on any of these developers. I appreciate them and their brutal and sometimes unwelcome honesty.

That is all. Enjoy.
