Google Adsense

We decided to put up some Google ads, via Google Adsense. Why? To make some money. To pay for our xona.com server and domain names. To have xona.com be less of a financial burden. Freedom is good. The lack of the need to make money is an amazing thing. The downside? Ads. Ads can be ugly and distracting. We will see how it goes.

What inspired the move was our Adsense account was closing from 2 years of inactivity. I logged in and our stats reminded me there were months where we made enough revenue to seriously help the funding of our company, Xona Games Inc.

If the ads are down as you read this, I have likely changed my mind. Check out this screenshot I took just moments before posting this article:

Xona Games (xona.com) now has Google Ads!
Good or bad?

The ads seem to be related to our site's content. What do you guys think? Let us know.

That is all for now.
