I normally don't post about other games, but Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 is one of my favorites. It's this week's XBLA Deal of the Week, reduced to 400 Microsoft Points (down from 800), available only to Xbox LIVE Gold members.

The above Geometry Wars videos were recorded with a Blackmagic Intensity Pro capture card and a Dell Precision T3400 workstation containing a four 7,200 RPM hard drive RAID-0 array (simulating a single 28,800 RPM hard drive in terms of speed performance).
