I only hope I can make a dent in the universe the way Aaron Swartz has.
Aaron H. Swartz was an American computer programmer, writer, political organizer, and Internet activist. Swartz was involved in the development of the web feed format RSS, the website framework web.py, and the social news site Reddit, in which he was an equal partner after a merger with his Infogami company. Swartz also focused on sociology, civic awareness and activism. In 2010 he became a research fellow at Harvard University’s Safra Center for Ethics... He founded the online group Demand Progress, known for its campaign against the Stop Online Piracy Act, and later worked with the activist groups Rootstrikers and Avaaz. He also was a contributing editor to The Baffler. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Swartz
Here's an abrasive but humbling report on Aaron's death, by The Amazing Atheist:
AARON SWARTZ: DEAD by TheAmazingAtheist
The Amazing Athiest pushes for this petition to be signed, which I would if I lived in the United States: http://tinyurl.com/bwrkvl5 (Remove United States District Attorney Carmen Ortiz from office for overreach in the case of Aaron Swartz)
Respects, from Xona Games crew.
